Thesis Statement

First thesis statement:
A dynamic controversy has been elevated over the "Harry Potter" series, though some see it as a threat to Christian teachings, Harry Potter's life is an incredible story of how a young wizard learns numerous life values such as friendship, loyalty, and courage.

Beginning of Project

In my AP English III class, we're starting a controversial research project. While most of the students chose the popular topics such as abortion and the death penalty, I decided to look more into the controversy of the Harry Potter series. There are plenty of pros and cons to this subject, so stay tuned. I find myself to be on the side that Harry Potter shouldn't affect people's views, so the conflict should just be left alone. I will update pretty often as I get this started :)
